According to a recent Pew study, 64 percent of Americans have used the Internet for spiritual or religious purposes. When considering these numbers and the ever-growing popularity of the Internet for spiritual purposes, you can’t help but consider your Web site and online. ...the study shows that 32 percent have gone online to read news accounts of religious events and affairs and 17% have looked for information about where they could attend religious services. 

....according to a Nielsen/NetRatings Enumeration Study (February 2004), with the highest number of home internet users being 36.4 million women in the 35-54 age range. That's 75% of homes on the internet! Broadband (high-speed) internet is now connecting about 45.2% of U.S. homes. InternetWorldStats.com, the percentage of U.S. population on the internet is over 199 million (67.6%).

This is now 2010! Imagine what the percentage is now!
