JRS Custom Fabrication is pleased to introduce our newly designed sound attenuated enclosure products. The following are some of the standard features of the new design:

We continue to build a fully welded frame, a true structural style construction, including all walls and opening framing, roof beams, and mounting frames. All members are spaced 16” o/c maximum. This design gives us the strongest and most rigid enclosure frame in the industry. Our standard wind rating is 150 MPH on all enclosures.

The .090 aluminum roof panels are mechanically fastened to the structural roof beams and then weatherproofed using a continuous sealing system at all seams. Peaked roofs are standard.

.040 pre painted aluminum skin is applied using 3M double sided tape that eliminates all external fasteners. This product dramatically increases the wind load rating of our standard product design. For projects exceeding 150 mph wind load ratings and those subject to the missile impact rating .080 pre painted aluminum skin is used. All doors feature continuous concealed hinges, gas shock door returns and a flush latch with a lifetime warranty.

New punched intake panels eliminate louvers for a cleaner “factory style” appearance. These panels allow us greater control of the schedule which favorably impacts lead times.

New sound attenuation materials (poly foam insulations) are utilized for improved acoustical characteristics. An absorber/barrier composite reduces reverberation noise and sound transmission. This insulation has an adhesive on one side, and the interior walls are finished with a .032 aluminum perforated material, mechanically fastened, that adds protection for the insulation, strengthens the structure, and provides a finished product.

These design improvements allow our production team greater efficiency and reduces the outside vendor parts orders, therefore reducing both the cost and lead time of the new enclosure.
